KitzKongress goes Green
The K3 KitzKongress is the first congress center in Tirol which was awarded for the Austrian Ecolabel for "Green Locations"
Moreover, the KitzKongress is also awarded for the Austrian Ecolabel for "Green Meeting" and "Green Events". This honours the organizer, who is particularly committed to reducing waste quantities at congresses, conferences and various events.
As an organizer, you now have the opportunity to hold your event as a "Green Meeting" or "Green Event" in our congress center in the heart of Kitzbühel. Through the certification that we have received from the Austrian Ministry of Life, we are entitled to award your event the environmental label in accordance with the following criteria:
- Mobility
- Venue
- Catering & gastronomy
- accommodation
- Communication and social aspects
Our goal is to hold more congresses, conferences and events in the KitzKongress according to high ecological principles, so that natural resources in Kitzbühel are conserved and energy efficiency and regional resources are optimized.
Events at the KitzKongress that were licensed with the Austrian Ecolabel:
- Best Apprentice Competition, October 30, 2014, with approx. 200 guests
- ÖHV hotelier congress, January 13 - 15, 2015, with approx. 500 congress participants
- Climate active, 22.09.2017 with approx. 150 guests
- Best Apprentice Competition, November 6th, 2018, with approx. 220 guests
